Colorado River Trout

After hiking into the Grand Canyon via the Nankoweap Trail, known as
THE MOST DIFFICULT OF ALL NAMED TRAILS IN THE GRAND CANYON,
I had planned on doing some fishing in order to supplement our hiking diet of freeze dried EVERYTHING.
It was nice to add some fresh fish to our ramen.
I don't know why these fish looked so different? Anyone? [THIS JUST IN 10/29- Top trout is Cutthroat
and bottom is a male Rainbow Trout in breeding colors. Thank you John!]
I'll have more to say about the Nankoweap Trail in future posts.
